ALARA Senior is a personal safety device integrated into a comfortable and discreet bracelet, designed to accompany elderly people, people who live alone or who need a simple and quick way to ask for help in emergency situations.
At first glance it looks like a common bracelet, but inside it integrates smart alert technology that is activate with just two clicks, sending an SOS alert with real-time location to emergency contacts configured in the ALARA App.
It is designed especially for situations such as falls, disorientation, medical emergencies or moments when the person does not have the cell phone at hand, even inside the bathroom or shower.

Bluetooth signal range
- The device works through Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), connecting to your cell phone on to send the alert and location.
- ALARA Scrunchie/Sport: up to 23 meters of range in ideal conditions.
- ALARA Silver: up to 3 meters range in ideal conditions.
- In both cases, walls, objects and the human body can interfere or reduce the distance, as occurs with any Bluetooth device.
About water resistance
- ALARA Senior: It is the only device resistant to showers. It is designed especially for the elderly, so it can be used during daily bathing, where many emergencies occur.
⚠️ It is not submersible (not for pool or sea), but it is safe for use in the shower.
- ALARA Scrunchie, Sport and Silver:
These formats are not waterproof or submersible.
Showering, swimming, or exposing them to constant humidity or heavy rain should be avoided.
Battery life and replacement
- The battery has a estimated duration of up to 12 months, depending on use.
- When it runs out, it can be easily replaced by the user.
- Battery type: CR1220 (common, watch type, available in pharmacies and stores).
Monthly test recommendation
- In the app you will find the “Test Mode” option.
- We recommend using this feature at least once a month to ensure your device is connected and working properly.
- This test will also allow you to check the status of the battery.

PRESS THE BUTTON 2 TIMES OR MORE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY
After pressing ALARA, a text message (SMS) is sent to your emergency contacts. This contains a link with your real time location.

How is ALARA used?
Using ALARA is simple:
- Take your ALARA with you: Wear it as a necklace, bracelet, keychain, scrunchie, just like any daily accessory.
- Activate the alert: If you are in an emergency situation, double-press the device.
- Auto Send: ALARA will send a text message with your location in real time for 24 hours to the five contacts you have previously registered.

What is an Alert or "Alert Status"?

How long will emergency contacts see my location?
Emergency contacts will only see your location in real time while an alert is active. That is, from the moment you press the panic button and the SMS is sent until you stop the alert in the App. If you didn't remember to stop the alert, don't worry!
